Train The Trainer

Nov 24 - 28, 2025

The International Flight Operations Academy (IFOA) India successfully conducted its Train the Trainer (TTT) program, bringing together aviation professionals from all levels and with varied years of experience, all of whom gained practical, industry-ready training skills.

The program focused on building trainers who design and deliver meaningful learning. Participants learned how to set clear instructional objectives, structure sessions effectively, engage diverse learners, and conduct accurate assessments. A strong emphasis was placed on adult learning principles, learning hormones, and behavioral science to improve attention, retention, and motivation. Trainees explored how to create the right training environment—covering facilities, equipment, learner comfort, and the 5 Ps of Training: Planning, Preparation, Presentation, Practice, and Performance. They also developed cross-cultural awareness, an essential skill for aviation’s global environment.

Throughout the course, professionals practiced managing trainees, maintaining engagement, and applying a competency-based approach aligned with ICAO recommendations. The program concluded with participants equipped not only with training techniques but with the leadership mindset required to inspire the next generation of aviation professionals.

IFOA India continues to strengthen training excellence across the sector by empowering aviation experts to evolve into confident, effective, and globally aligned trainers.
